It was a day to remember when the Faculty of Mass Communication and Media Technology, SGT University conducted a workshop on ‘Light and Camera’ on March 15, 2018. The former Head of Department – Camera, NDTV, Mr. Ajmal Jami was the special attraction of the event as the workshop was completely addressed by him for the media students. In this workshop, Mr. Jami explained the importance of light and camera in the field of media.

The workshop was attended by the students of different courses where they got an opportunity to brush up their knowledge on light and camera. To make the workshop more interesting for the students, it was divided into two sessions. The most important part of the session was the training given to students on ‘How to Operate Camera’.

The workshop was very special for the media aspirants as they got an opportunity to meet a great personality like Mr.Jami who is believed to be a well-known name in the field of Television and Camera. Coming to his achievements, Mr. Jami covered Kargil war, Battle of Kargil Hill, Kashmir earthquake, Tsunami, King Abdulla’s interview, and many other events which makes a remarkable success story.
