National Conference on Digital Media

A two-day National conference Manthan 2018 on the topic DIGITAL MEDIA – Fact, Fiction & Fake was organized by Faculty of Mass Communication & Media Technology at SGT University. The conference was attended by stalwarts of media like Shri Qamar Waheed Naqvi, former News Director AAJ TAK News Channel, Shri Rahul Dev, Senior Journalist & TV Anchor, Prof. Geeta Bamezai, Head, Communication Research at IIMC, Shri Bal Mukund, Senior Journalist as the Key Note speakers for inaugural and valedictory sessions. During the two-day program, parallel sessions on the Digital Media and the sub-themes were conducted which involved around people form academics, industry, faculty and research scholars from different media institutes of repute across the nation. During the conference, around 40 research papers were selected for presentation. The program was convened by Prof. Mukesh Kumar.
